Albania

The Albanian language (or gjuha shqipe, pronounced [dʒ'juha ˈʃkipɛ] in Albanian) is considered special because it is unrelated to any other language currently in existence, being the only surviving Indo-European language nowadays. It's spoken by approximately 7.4 million people mainly found in Albania and Kosovo but also among minority Albanian populations in other areas of the Balkans, such as Macedonia, Montenegro, Southern Serbia, communities in Greece, along the eastern coast of Italy and on the island of Sicily as well.
